On the Couch

On The Couch is back in Season 2023 - a fun and social Sunday night up at the clubrooms kicking off from 5.30pm.

Each team is invited up on the couch for a weekly round chat - coaches will do a quick wrap of the games, and we get to hear from a chosen few players if they wish to share their teams news with you. 

But wait, there's more! Each week, a team is selected to ‘host’ the night, and is put in charge of preparing and serving meals to attending families.

Keeping in mind each team will be catering for a crowd, menu items include a variety of mains, salads and sweet treats. The club also recommends allowing for meal options that cater for our vegetarian/vegan and gluten free members. The chosen teams TM will be in charge of coordinating the menu for the evening.

Drinks will be available at the bar (at bar prices)!

It's a cheap family night out and it is usually done and dusted by 7pm.  All junior levels are present and some of the senior kids will get up and talk too. Usually there are appearances from the senior club, and this is a great opportunity to chat to them about their journey from juniors to seniors. 

What a great way to celebrate the round as well as feed the family with someone else cooking and cleaning up!
