Presentation Day Return to Top

The awards for the season are presented to players and officials on Presentation Day. All players, families and friends and supporters are invited to attend.

Annual General Meeting Return to Top

The Annual General Meeting is held normally in September each year. At this meeting, the current committee reports on the season's activities and the new committee is elected.

Insurance Return to Top

The club is covered for Public Liability to the value of $10m.

Medical Records and Responsibilities Return to Top

The club will request details of your child's medical history on Registration Day. This information will be handed to the team's trainers, so that they will be aware of any irregularities or special requirements that your child may have.The club has insurance cover through the Victorian Football Union Players Accident Fund Friendly Society. The contributions made are for a top up fund and do not replace private health cover. A "Register of Injuries " is located in the clubrooms and is maintained by the Club Medical Officer.For claims to be made, players must notify the club's accident fund representative of all INJURIES. If treatment is required, you must obtain a claim form from the Club Medical Officer prior to receiving treatment, and return the form within 28 days of the injury occurring. The forms can be returned with or without the accounts. The insurance cover ceases once the player resumes playing. All accounts must be paid prior to a claim for reimbursement being made. All claims for refunds will be made by the club's Medical Officer.

Dental - $1000 Maximum·
Ambulance - $1000 Maximum·
Chemist/Orthotics - $200
Registered Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Masseurs and Osteopaths :-

- where no games lost - $50 excess - max$50- where 1 game lost - $25 excess - max $100

- where 2 or more games lost - no excess - Max $600

Private Hospital - elective surgery only - 9 days

- Theatre Fee - $300 - 1st day - $200 bed fee

- 2nd to 9th day - $300 bed fee

Chiropractic X-Rays $60 Max.· Tragedy Benefits (Death & Disability)

Doctors, X-Rays, and outpatients DO NOT QUALIFY for benefits. These are all covered under Medicare.

Fund Raising Return to Top

The Club has a Social Committee comprising at least one representative(s) from each team.Several fund raising activities and functions are held throughout the year and these are generally advertised in the newsletter and/or on the noticeboard in the Club rooms. Helpers are always required to assist with these activities, so if you would like to participate, please contact the Social Manager or a Committee Member.

The Canteen is run by Canteen Manager's with the assistance of paid junior members.

Equipment Return to Top

The Club provides the players with training and playing facilities, footballs, jumpers and a range of other equipment. Any other protective equipment eg: mouthguards, headguards, must be supplied by players. Mouthguards are COMPULSORY!. Players are required to have their own boots, socks, shorts (green & white) and training jumpers. It is not appropriate for players to wear the Club supplied jumpers for training.
The NorthernFootball League does not allow players to wear aluminium stops during games.

Volunteers Return to Top

Your Club is run by volunteers and we are always looking for new helpers and members. Please contact a Committee member to obtain more details.

Problems or Complaints Return to Top

The Club will nominate a complaint's committee. This committee will be responsible for hearing all complaints and to recommend actions to the Executive Committee and/or the General Committee. The Executive Committee will be required to ratify the outcome of all complaints' committee hearings.
All complaints must be made in writing and forwarded to the Club Secretary . The complaints' committee will meet and advise the Executive Committee of its findings in a formal report. The report shall be available within 14 days of the complaint being made.

Procedures
Please remember when considering your complaint that the Club is staffed by volunteers who are giving up their time, to provide your child with a game of football.
If a parent or player has a problem that they would like to have resolved they should follow the procedure detailed below:
If the problem relates to a team official, the player / parent should arrange to discuss the issue with the coach or team manager.
It is expected that complaints would not be raised during a game or training session.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of these discussions, you should forward a formal complaint in writing to the secretary who will arrange for the complaint to be heard by the complaints' committee.
